Venue

The 2016 Taal & Tongval Colloquium will be held at The Royal Academy for Dutch Language and Literature (Koninklijke Academie voor Nederlandse Taal- en Letterkunde, KANTL), Koningstraat 18, Ghent (Belgium).

How to get there?

The Royal Academy is situated in the old city centre, near the Vrijdagmarkt. If you want to get there via public transport, take a bus or tram (De Lijn) to the Korenmarkt (5 minutes’ walk to Koningstraat 18) or to Sint-Jacobs (2 minutes’ walk). From Ghent-Sint-Pieters, the easiest way is to take tram 1 to the Korenmarkt and to walk from there onwards.

Tickets can be purchased at the lijnwinkels (at Sint-Pieters Station or Cataloniëstraat 4 near the Korenmarkt) or one of the streetside vending machines (e.g. at the station). You can also buy them on the bus or tram, but then they are more expensive. More information on public transport in Ghent can be found at http://www.mobiliteitgent.be/openbaar-vervoer/tram-bus-met-de-lijn.

Lunch will be served at Keizershof (at Vrijdagmarkt 47, 5 minutes away)

Coffee breaks and closing reception are served in-house
